April Update

I have not updated my blog in awhile due to some health issues so I decided today to update everyone on what has been going on lately. The kids are good. Tayler and Tanner are off track for 3 weeks. They are pretty happy about not having school for awhile. Zhen has been learning how to ride a bike (with training wheels) but he gets mad whenever I let go. Its okay he will get the hang of it. He wont pedal up the street but will go down the street. Ryu has 4 teeth and 1 more coming in right now. He got his eye teeth on top which made him look like a vampire for a few weeks. It was so cute. I have just been working and playing with the kids. I went part time at work for a couple months until my medicine kicks in. I really like getting off at 1pm so I can go home and get things done plus I get to spend more time with the kids. We went to my nephew Hawkes birthday party on Sunday April 27th. That was fun. We went to South Jordan Rec center. The kids had fun swimming and did not want to leave. I will hopefully have more pictures and updates later.

April Fools

I decided to take Zhen to the mall with me on Wednesday so we could get some lunch together because we never really get to spend time together alone. We get to the mall and I get out and go around to get Zhen out of his car seat when I notice a Iguana sitting on the ground right by his door. I got a little scared seeing how it was very unexpected to see an iguana in the mall parking lot! So I ran around to the other side of the car and got him out. Well an old couple walking past stopped to take a look at it. The old man said "oh its okay it will not hurt you sweetie" So I went into the mall and had someone from Maceys call security to go pick it up so that no one ran it over. When mall security came he asked me to show him where my car was. We walked out together and as soon as we got to my car he looked down and started to laugh. I asked him what was funny and he picked it up and said "Its fake"!! I was pretty embarrased but on my defense not only did it have batteries that made the tail move the elderly couple thought it was real too!! So I was April Fooled as you call it on the 9th of April =(

March 31st

So its the last day of March and we got a nice snow storm this morning. Kinda sucked but thats what happens when you live in Utah =)
So this month has been hectic, but what month is not when you have 4 kids right? Tanner has doctors appointments set up so hopefully we can figure out whats going on with my little man.
Tayler's birthday is this sunday April 6th. She will be 8! Ryu just went to his doctor appointment and weighs 19.5 pounds and Zhen is just the same old same old. He is such a good boy.

Easter Bunny

I bought a bunny for the kids last week. He was really cute, but then found out Ryu was allergic so I had to give him away =(

Easter And Dads Birthday

Yesterday was Easter & Dads birthday. Tanner and Tayler woke up about 6am to see what the Easter Bunny had brought them. This year I told the Easter Bunny no candy!! The kids got bubbles and sidewalk chalk and still got a little box of candy but it is better than a easter basket FULL of candy. I have been trying to keep Tanner away from candy because I think that will help sooo much with his migraines. Anyway, we dyed eggs and laid in bed all day watching movies. Around 5pm we went to Theresa's house and had a party for my dad. It was a very relaxing day.

Sick Sick Sick

I swear we have been sick more than healthy this year!! It started Christmas 07 when I got the stomach virus and since then I have gotten Strep throat, Bronchitus and now I have a little cold...Which I would much rather have than Bronchitus. The kids have had the flu and the stomach Virus too. The weather is starting to get better so I am hoping that our health will improve. I am excited for Spring/Summer. The best time of the year.

Migraines

Tanner was home sick again this weekend with another one of his Migraines. I talked to my Aunt Julie who informed me that it does run in the family, my cousin Joshua gets them atleast once a month as well. I got scared this time because he was slurring his words and he was throwing up so much he choked but after sleeping about 8 hours he felt better. This morning he said the cutest thing to me ever. I woke up around 4am to tend to Ryu and I asked Tanner if he was feeling better, he responded by saying " ya mom wanna know why I feel better"? So I said why and he said "because I love you sooo much" It was so cute. He is my hardest child but he is also very sweet.

Parent Teacher Conference

I went to Tayler and Tanner's PTC today. It went really really well. Tayler's Teacher said that she is very popular in class and sometimes very talkative but for the most part she stays focused and gets her work done. She got a A average with Excellent attitute. I wish she would bring that excellent attitude home =) Tanner is doing well too. He is going to the school counsler a couple times a week for his problems and I hope to see improvements on him within the next month. He is being tested for dyslexia. He sees his letters and numbers in a very different way than most children. Most of the time he sees them upside down. His teacher made him special glasses made from projection paper to help. When he wears the glasses he seems to do better. He is a little embarrased to wear the glasses but his teacher and I told him he looks like a stud =)

Tanner Jonathan

Poor Tanner has another Migraine Headache (atleast this is what we think it is) He gets these really bad headaches 1-2 times per week and he wants the lights off the door closed and if he hears one loud sound he will cry and throw up. He has been to doctor after doctor and they all say they have no idea what could be wrong with him. They have even done cat scans and MRI'S. As a parent this is sooo frustrating. I cant do anything to make him feel better and when the doctors say there is nothing wrong with him I get pretty mad. A 7 year old does not just get headaches.

Ryu's Easter Outfit

I bought Ryu his Easter outfit and I was sooo excited to try it on. He looks like a little man in it. He typically does not like hats, however, he did not once try and take this hat off so I was pretty happy about that. It will be his first Easter and this year my dad's birthday is also on Easter day.

I decided to do a blog so my kids and I have something we can all look back on in the future. I was going to do a journal ( yeah right) but this is sooo much easier for someone like me who does not have alot of time on their hands.
